The Heritage Society honors individuals who have made provisions in their estate plans to benefit the University of Hawai‘i through bequests and other planned gifts.
Who Qualifies for the Heritage Society?
There is no minimum gift requirement for membership. Heritage Society members are those who have named the UH Foundation as a beneficiary in their estate plan, including:
- Wills or living trusts
- Charitable gift annuities
- Charitable remainder or lead trusts
- Retirement plans
- Life insurance policies
- Real estate with retained life estate
