(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi) — The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation and the University of Hawaiʻi Alumni Association (UHAA) are pleased to announce that Janet Yoshida Bullard has been promoted to vice president of marketing and communications - alumni and donor relations for the UH Foundation. In this new leadership position Bullard will manage the alumni and donor relations teams, communications and marketing group, and the annual giving and e-communications teams. Janet joined the Foundation in 2008 as the associate vice president of alumni relations at the UH Foundation and executive director of UHAA.

Janet came to the UH Foundation after ten years serving as senior director of marketing and promotions for Hawaiian Airlines. Following her graduation from UH Mānoa in 1982 where she earned her BFA, she spent most of her career working in the visitor industry in various marketing and sales management positions in hotels, the Hawaiʻi Convention Center and membership organizations such as the Hawaiʻi Visitors and Convention Bureau and the San Diego Visitors and Convention Bureau.
