Since 2017 Alaka‘ina Foundation has given more than $4 million in philanthropic funding to UH. Their contributions have supported every campus across the UH System including scholarships and programming in:
• JABSOM (2 full-ride medical student scholarships)
• UH Community Colleges Scholarship supporting students in CTE fields & Leeward CC’s accelerated on-line learning
• UH Manoa Hawai‘inuiakea’s Kapapa Lo‘i O Kanewai and Hawaiian Youth Abroad program.
• UH Hilo Ka Haka ʻUla O Keʻelikōlani College of Hawaiian Language
• Kauai CC’s COGS program.
• Scholarships to support Kaua‘i CC students transferring to the UH Manoa College of Engineering.
• UHWO ‘Ulu Ulu Archives and Pre-Nursing Pathway
