Three prominent Hawaiʻi leaders join UHF Board of Trustees

  • Stanford S. Carr, Ted N. Pettit and Michael Sklarz

The University of Hawaiʻi Foundation has appointed Stanford S. Carr, Ted N. Pettit and Michael “Mike” Sklarz to its Board of Trustees, adding expertise in housing development, law and finance, and economic research.

The University of Hawai‘i Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) contracted by the University of Hawai‘i Board of Regents to be the sole provider of alumni services and fundraising for the UH System. The funds it raises are critical for supporting the educational mission of UH, one of the largest drivers of Hawai‘i’s economy. This private support funds scholarships to build Hawai‘i’s future workforce, helps attract top faculty talent, and fuels world-class research.

“We are incredibly fortunate to welcome back Stanford and Ted and to have Michael join our Board of Trustees,” said Tim Dolan, UH vice president for advancement and UH Foundation CEO. “These distinguished leaders bring the perspective and commitment to community that will help strengthen philanthropic support for UH.”
