University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics is celebrating Homecoming and UH Athletics’ official move to the Mountain West Conference with a Giving Week to support our hometown teams.

Homecoming is a celebration of our shared commitment to the University of Hawai'i and the incredible student-athletes who represent us on and off the field. It’s also a time to show your support for our student-athletes with a gift to help them excel.

Donors can choose teams to support, from football to men’s and women’s basketball or volleyball to track and field or sailing. Donor may also give to the UH band that plays at games or cheerleading or give to support the Hawaiʻi Athletics program as a whole.

UH announced last week that it is joining the Mountain West Conference as a full member effective July 1, 2026. Since 2012, UH has been competing in the Mountain West in football and in the Big West Conference for most of its other men’s and women’s sports teams.

With this transition ahead, UH Athletics needs your support now more than ever. Philanthropic support is crucial for the long-term success of our athletic teams and their student-athletes. Donors may make an online gift by going to givingday.uhfoundation.org.

“This is a momentous move for University of Hawaiʻi Athletics,” said UH Athletics Director Craig Angelos. “Now with the majority of our sports competing in this in the same conference, we’re committed to growing our programs to provide more opportunities for our student-athletes as well as more great collegiate athletics experiences for our community to enjoy and support.”

Hawaiʻi will compete in 15 conference-sponsored sports in the Mountain West starting with the 2026-27 seasons. Women’s sports include basketball, cross country, golf, indoor and outdoor track & field, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, tennis and volleyball. Men’s sports include basketball, baseball, football, golf, and tennis.
