Nominations are invited for the 2022 ARRS Scholarship, which supports early-career faculty members to study or research the radiologic sciences and explore ways to change the way radiology is practiced. Scholarship awards are intended to provide salary support; cover the cost of scholarship-related travel (including travel to the ARRS annual meeting for selection and presentation years); and support scholars' study related to the project plan, including study outside the parent institution (training/tuition expenses may not exceed 20 percent of total scholarship funding).
Eligible candidates must be an ARRS member at the time the application is submitted and for the duration of the award; have earned an MD or DO (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and completed all required residency and fellowship training; and have held a full-time faculty appointment as a lecturer, instructor, assistant professor, or equivalent for no more than five years beyond their initial faculty appointment. The appointment must be in a department of radiology, nuclear medicine, or associated department in the radiologic sciences of a medical school teaching hospital in the United States or Canada.
