Parkinson's Foundation

Grants will be awarded in support of clinical, pre-clinical or basic research proposals that directly impact the understanding of Parkinson's or its treatment from promising early career scientists. Successful projects should include novel PD research hypotheses and be inventive in methodology or approach.

Eligible applicants include junior faculty members who possess a PhD, MD, or equivalent and meet the National Institutes of Health (NIH) definition of a "new investigator." The typical applicant will hold an assistant professor level position with up to several years of experienceat institutions in the U.S. and Canada.

Letters of Intent are due November 16, 2021, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by March 7, 2022.
