American Society of Nephrology

Grants will be awarded to nephrology fellows under the direction of a sponsor in support of original research on any aspect of the spectrum of kidney biology and disease. KidneyCure especially encourages applications from women and members of underrepresented minorities in medicine (as defined by AAMC).

Eligible applicants must hold an MD, DO, PhD, or equivalent degree; may not have completed more than five years of research training after the completion of an MD or DO degree or equivalent, or three years of postdoctoral research training after a PhD degree (at the time of the activation of the award). In addition, applicants and their sponsors must be members of ASN at the time of the fellowship application.
