Myocarditis Foundation

Grants will be awarded to physician-scientists in support of career development and training of physician-scientists in myocarditis research.  Research Grants are intended to offer seed funding to support the early stages of long-term research, from the investigation of an initial hypothesis to the collection of preliminary data. At the end of the grant period, recipients should be well prepared to seek long-term funding from the National Institute of Health (NIH) or other major granting institutions. Applicants must work with a preceptor who demonstrates a proven commitment to myocarditis research and will provide support during the application process.

Eligible applicants must conduct all research and activities in the U.S. or Canada, and apply within ten years of earning an MD, PhD, or equivalent degree.
