CURE Childhood Cancer - Childhood Cancer Research

Details

CURE invites research proposals aimed at finding cures and effective treatments with lower toxicity for childhood cancers. The research should have the potential to significantly improve treatments for pediatric cancers where current options are inadequate. The highest priority will be awarded to projects aimed at improving outcomes for the 20 percent of children who are not surviving today's treatment methods. Such studies might include developing novel therapies, characterizing drug resistance, and/or treating relapsed disease. CURE will prioritize clinical and translational research proposals with anticipated clinical testing or application within the next two to three years.

The requested budget should be at or under $150,000 in direct costs for a one-year grant. Proposals for clinical projects may request a two-year grant of up to $150,000 in direct costs per year.
