Thrasher Research Fund - Concept Papers for Pediatric Research

Concept papers are invited for medical research projects in children’s health that are conducted by new researchers with oversight by a mentor. The fund anticipates awarding grants to 15 researchers with the potential to become independent principal investigators. Many research topics are eligible, as the fund does not focus on a particular disease but instead on children’s health broadly defined.

Applicants must be a physician in a residency/fellowship training program; a physician who has completed such a program no more than one year before the date of submission of the concept paper; or a postdoctoral researcher who has received a doctoral-level degree no more than three years before the date of submission of the concept paper.

Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by May 6, 2022.
