Organization for Autism Research - Applications for Applied Research

Applications are invited for the OAR Applied Research competition which will award grants of up to $40,000 over up to two years in support of research with the potential to expand the body of knowledge related to autism intervention and treatment impact public policy, and to provide outcomes that enhance quality of life for persons with autism and their families.

Emphasis will be placed on research that addresses the following areas: community-based assessment and intervention for challenging behavior; community-engaged research; physical health and mental health; improving access to and effectiveness of existing systems and services; intersectionality, equity, and diversity; and mid-life and older adults.

Selected applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal by August 15, 2022.
