American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation - New Century Scholars Research Grant

Proposals are invited to advance knowledge, tools, and techniques in communication sciences and disorders. This grant supports innovative studies, has a promise of major impact, or can meet research needs not yet addressed. Four grants of up $25,000 will be awarded to support a one-or two-year study.

For 2022, an endowed Swallowing Research Fund is available to support proposals for research topics in the area of swallowing and swallowing disorders.

Applicants must have received a PhD or equivalent research doctorate within the discipline of communication sciences and disorders. Preference for funding consideration will be given to ASHA members.
