Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation - Proposals for Soft-Tissue Injury Recovery After Trauma

Details

Grants will be awarded in support of proposals focused on soft-tissue injury recovery after trauma. Proposals that address recovery from muscle, tendon, and/or ligamentous challenges associated with pilon fractures, proximal tibial fractures, or patella fractures are of particular interest to the foundation. Proposed projects are expected to generate results that will likely lead to a practical application.

Eligible applicants include orthopaedic surgeons licensed to practice in the U.S and working in an institution in the U.S. with active clinical practice. PhDs or DVMs working in or holding a primary appointment at an institution/orthopedic department in the U.S. or Canada may serve as the PI. A letter from the department chair confirming the appointment is also required.
