Grants will be awarded in support of pilot initiatives or demonstration projects for models that increase employment for individuals with disabilities. The foundation has a special interest in projects that address the intersection of race, class, gender, disability, and poverty within the framework of helping individuals with disabilities obtain employment or re-enter the job market following injury.

Massage Therapy Association   |

Grants will be awarded in support of high-quality, independent research that contributes significantly and directly to the knowledge of massage therapy and/or its application. Basic, applied, and translational research studies investigating massage therapy as wellness, medical, or health/mental health treatment and/or prevention intervention are supported.

New York Stem Cell Foundation   |

Applications are invited for projects to analyze postmortem brain tissue from the Autism BrainNet collection.  SFARI will encourage individual and collaborative applications that study and compare gene expression at the tissue single-cell level. Such analyses could also include alternative splicing/isoform analysis, RNA editing, noncoding RNAs, epigenetic modifications and/or proteomics.
