UH alumni David and Elsie are longtime season ticket holders for basketball, baseball, and football, and have worked to provide The Game & Tunnel Experience to youth teams, schools, clubs, groups, families and eager fans of UH men's basketball.
Bequest Intention
Fran Friend Alexander and her husband, Kirk Alexander, have endowed a scholarship that will benefit women graduate students studying oceanography at UH.
Charitable Gift Annuity
Because Will cherished his time and experience with the staff at Queen's, he wanted to create a transformational gift to benefit their children's futures. As a result, Will established two charitable gift annuities that created an endowed scholarship fund to support children of Queen's employees.
"We want to promote science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, and we thought Windward was a great place to do it," said Randy Jaycox. "We believe strongly that education is the key for people to go places and do things."

Dr. Ricardo Trimillos didn't plan to focus his research on the music of a Muslim community in the southern Philippines. He played the koto, a stringed instrument from Japan, and that's where his interests resided. When a group of friends planned a research trip to the Philippines, he agreed to go along, and spent the rest of his career sharing his expertise in Filipino culture and music.
Fueled by his unrelenting commitment to the field, he established the Architecture Department within the College of Arts and Sciences, served as the department's first chair, and established both the four-year pre-architecture undergraduate degree program and the pre-professional programs in landscape architecture and interior design.
