Applications are invited for the Damon Runyon Physician-Scientist Training Award which will provide U.S. Specialty Board-eligible physicians with funding over four years in support of a protected research training experience under the mentorship of a highly qualified and gifted mentor.

Grants will be awarded in support of proposals that tackle critical issues or problems that are impeding progress in the field of PD research.

Grants will be awarded in support of studies designed to assess breast implant safety, including local and systemic complications and illnesses related to breast implants. Proposals that examine implant surveillance techniques and imaging are also invited. In addition, basic, translational, and clinical research studies are all within the scope of the program.

Applications are invited for the Pre- and Postdoctoral Training Awards and Medical Student Gap Year Research Training Awards. Proposed training should be scientifically linked to autism but may be broadened to include training in a closely related area of scientific research.

Grants will be awarded to nephrology fellows under the direction of a sponsor in support of original research on any aspect of the spectrum of kidney biology and disease. KidneyCure especially encourages applications from women and members of underrepresented minorities in medicine (as defined by AAMC).

Applications are invited for the 2022 Physician Scientist Fellowship program, which provides grants to physician scientists at the subspecialty fellowship level who are seeking to conduct additional years of research beyond their subspecialty requirement with the goal is to aid in the transition into a research faculty appointment.

Grants will be awarded to established researchers in support of research relevant to inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or Crohn's disease and/or ulcerative colitis. Funding should be used to generate sufficient preliminary data in order to become competitive for funding generated by other sources such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

Applications are invited for research to improve the adoption of lifestyle modifications at the individual and community level with interventions tailored to different racial and socioeconomic groups across the life span. Applicants should indicate how the proposed research will have a significant impact on outcomes in those individuals at risk of, or living with, diabetes.

Applications are invited for the Scott Spear Innovation in Breast Reconstruction Research Fellowship. This grant opportunity is available to residents and fellows and provides salary support to undertake a research project under the guidance of an experienced mentor.  Applications must describe a structured research training plan and a research project focused on breast cancer or breast reconstruction.

Grants will be awarded in support of investigator-initiated projects in all areas of ovarian cancer research. Projects designed to analyze data from already funded clinical trials will be considered.

Applicants must be investigators at the assistant, associate, or full professor level (or equivalent).
