Applications are invited for investigator-initiated proposals to support research focused on addressing research questions highlighted in the Pathways to MS Cures Roadmap, which includes three pathways: stopping MS disease activity, restoring function by reversing damage and symptoms and ending MS by preventing new cases. Applicants must clearly state the relevance of their proposals to at least one of the research questions outlined in the Roadmap.

Grants are intended to provide support to extraordinary early-career researchers who have an innovative new idea but lack sufficient preliminary data to obtain traditional funding. Research supported by the award must be novel, exceptionally creative, and, if successful, have a strong potential for high impact in the cancer field. Applications are invited for the AACR-Day One Biopharmaceuticals Pediatric Cancer Research Fellowship program, which represents a joint effort to encourage and support postdoctoral or clinical research fellows to conduct pediatric cancer research and to establish a successful career path in this field.

Grants will be awarded in support of research with the potential for more participation in childhood cancer clinical trials, but which currently lack necessary resources. Applications to support Clinical Research Associate (CRA) type positions are preferred. Preference is given to institutions with high needs and low philanthropic support in geographical areas where St. Baldrick’s funds are raised.
