SFARI invites applications for the Pilot Awards program, which will provide early support for exploratory ideas, particularly those with novel hypotheses. Appropriate projects for this mechanism include those considered higher risk but with the potential for transformative results. Projects that represent continuations of ongoing work, whether funded by SFARI or other funders, are not appropriate.

CURE Childhood Cancer - Childhood Cancer Research   |

CURE invites research proposals aimed at finding cures and effective treatments with lower toxicity for childhood cancers. The research should have the potential to significantly improve treatments for pediatric cancers where current options are inadequate. The highest priority will be awarded to projects aimed at improving outcomes for the 20 percent of children who are not surviving today's treatment methods.

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM), with support from Johnson & Johnson Innovation, the Bia-Echo Foundation, and the Yun Family Foundation is inviting applications to the 2022 US NAM Catalyst Award competition. NAM seeks innovative ideas that aim to extend the human health span (i.e., the number of years lived in good health), especially approaches that challenge existing paradigms or propose new methodologies or concepts.
