Shidler College of Business awards 350 scholarships totaling over $1M for 2016-2017
The Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa celebrated its successful scholarship program this week with business students and scholarship donors at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. The College awarded over $1 million in scholarships for the 2016-2017 academic year.
Saltchuk Hawaii Companies Gives $150,000
The Shidler College of Business at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa received a gift of $150,000 for scholarships from the Hawai‘i-based companies of Saltchuk Resources, Inc., based in Seattle, Washington.
$125,000 to Tackle Rural Hawai‘i’s Nursing Shortage
The William Randolph Hearst Foundations has awarded $125,000 to UH Mānoa Nursing to fund scholarships for 15 community college students from rural areas of Hawai‘i pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing.
