$790,000 Gift establishes HCRC Distinguished Professorship in Affordable Housing
To help address the growing crisis of affordable housing in Hawaiʻi, the Hawaii Community Reinvestment Corporation (HCRC) has donated $790,000 to establish the HCRC Distinguished Professorship in Affordable Housing. This endowment supports the establishment of a professorship in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning and the University of Hawai‘i Economic Research Organization (UHERO) in the College of Social Sciences at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.
New Fujimoto Family Endowment benefits students in the UH Hilo College of Business and Economics
Each semester, the endowment will fund a scholarship of $500 to several students enrolled in one of the college’s degree programs who have been accepted into an internship program.
