The University of Hawai‘i Foundation,  the nonprofit organization that raises private funds to support students, programs and research on all 10 UH campuses, is happy to announce that Dani Douglass has joined the team, and Bianca Mordasini and Nina Horioka have been promoted.

Former Hawaiian Electric Industries (HEI) executive Robert Clarke and his wife Edwina have donated $100,000 to fund a scholarship endowment for first-year students accepted into the Shidler College of Business Direct Admit Program (DAP).

Former Starwood Hotels & Resorts executive Keith Vieira has committed $1 million from his estate to an existing scholarship at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa Shidler College of Business, which was recently renamed to the Keith Vieira Endowment for Kamaaina Student Scholarships.

The 2019 Alumni Awards & Scholarship Fundraiser event hosted than 180 guests to honor two Alumni Hall of Fame inductees Mimi Harris and Gail Kanegawa, and the two Outstanding Young Alumni recipients The alumni chapter also raised $28,800 to support nursing endowed scholarship and student awards.
